The 2010 Ladies Retreat held at Camp Manatawny this Fall will focus on the 'Seasons of our Lives'. The women at Collingswood feel honored to host the retreat this year, and we are sure that you will be blessed by the words of our own Kathy Churchill and Linda Amado. The dates are October 1-2, 2010, so please plan on coming! If you have any questions regarding the retreat, feel free to email us at collingswoodladies@gmail.com.

 

Service Project Information

We hope that each congregation represented at the retreat will make one no-sew blanket. We will assemble the blankets at the retreat and donate them to Project Linus (www.projectlinus.org). 

We are asking that each congregation bring:

  • 2 pieces of Polar fleece cut to 48” x 60”. (Make sure that the 2 fabrics coordinate. One print and one coordinating solid work well together.) 
  • 2 pairs of sharp scissors to cut the fringes. (You’ll take these back home.)

*  Please only bring materials for 1 blanket per congregation; we will assemble the blankets at camp. Each blanket will take about 30 minutes to assemble. Blanket Kits (with the fabric already pre-cut) can be purchased in craft stores and they are also welcomed. 

Are you the only person from your congregation attending the retreat? Please come without any materials and we will place you in another group!
